The hot weather is continuing. Although prediction was for 26° it actually reached 30° with clear blue sky.

As we were not docking in Wurzburg until 11:30am we were able to have a bit of a sleep in.

After breakfast we walked into the riverside Old City for a brief look around before re-boarding the ship and preparing to get on the bus for the 45-minute trip to Rothenburg for a walking tour of the old City.

Rothenburg is one of Europe’s most perfectly reserved medieval cities with mighty fortifications and a wonderful array of ancient buildings. It also has a large Christmas decoration shop which Lynne & Heather spent a reasonable (read lots) amount of time in. I think we just about be able to redecorate out tree this Christmas.

Arrived back at the ship at 6:30pm, just in time to get changed for dinner.

After dinner the Ships’ Crew put on a stage show which was very entertaining.
