Weather is remaining wonderfully cool with an expected top of 19° in Paris and 21° in Mayenne.

Got a taxi to Montparnasse to catch the 11:05am and arrived in Laval station at 12:47pm.

As the train approached Le Mans we remembered that we had left some items in the safe at the hotel. After a phone call the hotel confirmed they would hold the items for us at reception.  We got a train back to Paris at 1:15pm, taxi back to the hotel, collected our things then another taxi back to the station. We boarded the train for Laval for the second time at 5:36 and arrived back at Laval at 7:18pm. Jim was waiting at the station to pick us up and take us the Mayenne where we will be stating for the next 5 nights. After a long day of travelling we had dinner with Jim, Eileen, Heather & Michael and headed off to bed
